Jiaogulan with Wu Yi
from $11.00
Jiaogulan has been a renowned and well beloved tea throughout South and East Asia through the ages. The plant is known for their life-giving properties and has been nicknamed the “herb of immortality” for good reason.
Jiaogulan is a leafy adaptogen, like Tulsi, and assists in our navigation of the stressors of everyday life by supporting the body, mind, and spirit. We team this wild-grown yunnan jiaogulan with an organic green tea from the pristine tea village of Wu Yi in China, for a multiple infusion cup that may become your everyday ally for even-toned, inspired energy and clarity of mind. The sweetness of the jiaogulan is balanced by the nutty astringency of the green tea.
Brewing directions:
1 TBS per 8 oz per cup of water off a boil and slightly cooled. This tea is best prepared looseleaf in a Gaiwan (a Chinese lidded vessel perfectly constructed for infusions), but can also be prepared to good result in a tea basket or ball. Makes 3+ infusions (or 3 good cups). Increase water temp and steep time with each infusion.
